Geographical position
Village on the right bank of the Mezen river. The nearest village of the Koynassky rural settlement, the village of Ust-Kym , is located 2 km to the east. The administrative center of the rural settlement, the village of Koynas , is 12 km away, and the administrative center of the Leshukonsky district, the village of Leshukonsky , is 80 km. [3]

Interesting Facts
Kuzmin’s courtyard (70s of the XX century) was moved from Chuchepala to the exposition of the State Museum of Wooden Architecture of the Russian North “ Malye Korely ”.
The village of Chuchepala got its name, according to tradition, because here the last Chud fell [7] .
