Group Education

The Hardkiss group was born from the Val & Sanina project. At the age of 18, vocalist of the group Yulia Sanina tried herself in journalism and wrote an article. Working on the material, Sanina met with the producer of the air on the Ukrainian MTV Valery Bebko. Later, they began to write music together and eventually created the Val & Sanina duet. A trial video was recorded and a couple of songs in Russian.

In an attempt to name the group most successfully, Sanina and Bebko sent three names to their friends on Facebook (The Hardkiss, Planet Pony). Another name, according to Julia Sanina, she no longer remembers. After the friends listened to the demo of the song, they said that in this music there is something sweet from the kiss and “hard” in the arrangements. ^[2]

2011

On September 11, the world premiere of the Babylon debut work took place. ^[3] On September 17, the Ukrainian channel M1 took the clip into rotation. The first concert of the group took place in September at the Serebro club. ^[4] On October 12, the band released their music video for the song “October”.

On October 20, 2011, the band acts as a warm-up with the British band Hurts . ^[five]

On November 18 in Kiev, the band The Hardkiss performs at the opening of DJ Solange Knowles. ^[6] .

In December 2011, the two largest music channels of Russia - MUSIC and MTV take over the clip of The Hardkiss (Dance with me) ^{[7] [8]}

December 12, 2011 the premiere of the video Dance with me. The director becomes bass guitarist Valery «Val» Bebko. Operator: Yuri King. ^[9] .

2012

January 29, the team takes part in the French festival Midem. ^[ten]

On February 8, the presentation of the almanac from eight short films “ Lovers in Kiev ” took place. The members of The Hardkiss group worked on one of the films (“Lost in the City”): Valery Bebko - director, Julia Sanina - co-author of the script. ^[eleven]

The premiere of The Hardkiss for the song “Make-Up” took place on September 3. The video was directed by the Hardkiss bass guitarist Valery “Val” Bebko.

On September 17, The Hardkiss became the nominee for the MTV EMA award (the best Ukrainian artist).

On November 30, The Hardkiss group performed at the solemn ceremony of awarding the winners of the main television award of Ukraine “ Teleriumph ”, which was held on the stage of the National Palace “Ukraine”.

The group received a special award and the title of “Discovery of the Year” from the All-Ukrainian annual competition “Brand of the Year”, the solemn ceremony of awarding the winners of which took place on December 6 in the Presidential Hall of Official Receptions in Kiev.

According to the results of 2012, experts of the main and only music award of Ukraine YUNA nominated a group in two categories - “Discovery of the Year” and “Best Video Clip” (“Make-Up”, director Val Bebko), in both she won.

2013

January 10 in the studio channel M1 The Hardkiss presented a new song Part of Me .

On March 17, Valeria Bebko’s video work for the song “Make Up” was recognized as the best in the “Video Clip” nomination at the YUNA Awards.

On April 7, the group performed in the Moscow Vegas TRK at the party “Party ZONA”, which was broadcast live on Muz-TV channel . On May 6, a teaser for the song In Love appeared on the network, the premiere of the video will take place on May 18, at the group's first solo concert. On May 8, the premiere of the song “In Love” took place. On June 7, the group opened the Muz-TV music award in Russia.

2014

March 29, The Hardkiss have become contenders for the victory in the nomination “The Best Group” for the YUNA awards. After the annexation of Crimea by Russia, the group refused any concerts on Russian territory. At the Park Live Moscow festival, which took place on June 27, 2014 in Moscow, the group agreed to participate only on the condition that the posters read “Concert of the Ukrainian Dance Party”. October 9, 2014 at The Big Show in Stereo Plaza was presented the first album of the group called Stones and Honey .

2015

On December 9, in the official Vkontakte group, the group presented its EP “Cold Altair”.

““ Doctor Thomases ”is the title song of the new EP. The philosophical theme of being is hidden in this track in the thoughts of Dr. Tomasses ... Human happiness consists of two things: faith in the beautiful and one chance in life that you should always take advantage of ”, the soloist of the group Yuliya Sanina described the track“ EP in ” airtime on radio Europa Plus Ukraine .

On December 24, the soloist of the group Yulia Sanina, guitarist Roman Skorobagatko and keyboard player Vitaly Onyskevich played an online concert at the Kiev headquarters of the social network VKontakte . This is the first concert and the first interview after the break. “We rarely play acoustics, especially for such an impressive number of viewers located in different parts of the globe,” Yulia Sanina, the front-speaker of The Hardkiss, announced earlier. ^[12]

2016 year

On January 26, 2016, it was announced that the group would take part in the national selection of Ukraine for Eurovision 2016 . ^{[13] [14]} .

On February 6, the group in the first semifinal of the selection passed to the final, taking second place. On February 21, the final of the national selection for Eurovision 2016 took place. According to the results of the refereeing vote, the group won first place, however, according to the results of the audience voting, only the second, as a result, Jamal won the final selection ^[15] .

2017

In 2017, the second album of Perfection is a lie was presented, in connection with this event, a Perfection tour was organized in 10 cities of Ukraine.

2018

On September 19, 2018, the third album entitled Zalizna Lastka was presented .
