Hakim Hanif Warrick ( born Hakim Hanif Warrick ; born July 8, 1982 Philadelphia , Pennsylvania ) is an American professional basketball player, playing the position of a heavy forward and center . In favor of the basketball club "Ironi" (Nahariya) . He was selected for the 2005 NBA Draft in the first round under the 19th overall number by the Memphis Grizzlies team.

Early years
School
Warrick studied in the small town of Winwood, Pennsylvania and played for the local school basketball team Friends' Central School. In his final year of study, Hakim, gaining an average of 15.6 points and making 13 rebounds and 4.8 block shots, helped his team win the Friends' schools League. [one]
College
Even before graduating from school, Warrick had an increased attention from agents of university teams from different states. As a result, he chose Syracuse University (New York), who offered him a scholarship to study. In it, he spent all four years, winning several final awards of the National University Sports Association and entering into possible symbolic teams. Warrick’s partner was Carmelo Anthony , with whom they won the NCAA Championship, the first for Syracuse Orange in their history [2] [3] .

Draft
Warrick put forward his candidacy for the 2005 NBA draft, where he was chosen by the “ Memphis Grizzlies ” under the general 19th number.
Memphis Grizzlies
In his very first season in the NBA, Hakim in most games appeared to replace the Grizzlies , but he was elected to the NBA Rolls Competition from above , in which he was also a newcomer, the next three-time winner of the Nate Robinson competition. Pau Gasol Warrick becomes the main powerful striker and more than doubles the main personal indicators (up to 12.7 points, 5.1 rebounds and 0.9 transmissions). The 2006/07 season is by far the most successful in Warrick’s career. In subsequent seasons, the Memphis Grizzlies did not make their way into the playoffs, and Hakim Warrick remained at the same level in terms of performance, spending less and less time on the court.
Milwaukee Bucks
As a result, on July 31, 2009, Warrick signed a contract with Milwaukee Bucks , in which he spent only half the season as a sixth player. [four]
Chicago Bulls
The second part of the 2009/10 season was played by the basketball player as part of the Chicago Bulls , in which he was exchanged with Joe Alexander for John Salmons and the possibility of exchanging rights to choose in the first round of the 2011 and 2012 draft . [5] In the Bulls, Hakim spent the least amount of time on the court from his first season in the NBA, never appeared from the start, but scored a decent 8.7 points and made 3.6 rebounds on average per game.
Phoenix Suns
On July 8, 2010, as a free agent, Hakim Warrick agreed to sign a four-year contract with Phoenix Suns [6] .
New Orleans Hornets
After two not very successful years in the Warrick Arizona Club, on July 27, 2012, he was exchanged in the New Orleans Hornets [7] .
