Biography
From 1997 to 2002, Are Hansen took part only in junior competitions. The main achievement during this period for Hansen was the silver medal won at the European Junior Championships in Thessaloniki . At the adult level, all major medals Hansen won the European Championships. In 2005, at the European Championships in Tallinn, the Norwegian shooter stud won two silver medals in the individual and team tournament in air rifle shooting from 10 meters. In 2008, at the championship in Winterthur Hansen in rifle shooting from 10 meters showed the best result and for the first time became the champion of Europe. At the world championships, the Norwegian's best result is 19th place in the championship in Munich .
