Last year, Danny received a number of individual awards at the University, including the John Wooden Prize , which is awarded to the best player among students.

Baseball career

Ange was selected in the 1977 draft by the Toronto Blue Jays team. At that time, he was still a student, Age had his first major league debut in 1979. Mostly he played in second base, but sometimes went to positions in the outfield. Age was the youngest player in the Blue Jays history to knock out a home run , at that time he was 20 years old and 77 days old. Danny also took part in the perfect game of reliever , playing in third base.

NBA

Boston Celtics

Age joined the champion team and at first he had difficulty adapting to basketball. According to Larry Bird in the first training session, he scored "0 out of 2547 shots." The head coach of the team, Bill Fitch, was indignant at the fact that the percentage of implementation of approaches to the bat at the Age was more than his percentage of implementation of shots on the ring. In his first season, he received little playing time, mostly coming on as a substitute. Age replaced age. In the playoffs of the 1981/82 season, the Celtics reached the Finals of the Eastern Conference, losing to the Philadelphia Seventi Sixers in a series of seven matches.
