Chaim Cohen-Meguri ( Heb. חיים כהן-מגורי ; b. April 1, 1913 , Yemen - June 10, 2000 , Israel ) - Israeli politician, member of the Knesset of the first seven convocations from the Herut movement, and then from the bloc " HAHAL ".

Biography
Chaim Cohen-Meguri was born to a Jewish family in Yemen . In 1921 he repatriated to Palestine . In 1927, he joined Beitar , and in 1935, in Irgun . He studied at the gymnasium "Balfour", Tel Aviv .
After the establishment of the state, he was elected to the Knesset of the 1st convocation from the Herut movement, he worked in the Knesset commission , the commission on public services and the commission on labor . In the 2nd Knesset elections, Cohen-Megouri lost his place in the Knesset, but in 1953 replaced Arie Ben-Eliezer in parliament [1] . He joined the labor commission and the internal affairs commission . He also retained positions in these commissions in the Knesset of the 3rd convocation.
In 1959 he was again elected to the Knesset (4th convocation), joined the commission on education and culture , the commission on services to the population and the commission on labor . In the Knesset of the fifth convocation, in addition to the available posts, got a seat in the commission on economics .
In 1965 he was last elected to the Knesset, this time from the GAHAL bloc . He was a member of the economic commissions , the commission on internal affairs , the commission on labor and the commission of the Knesset .
He was a member of the leadership and the central committee of the Herut movement. He was a member of the city council and the council for religious affairs of Netanya . He died in 2000 at the age of 87 years.
