Gameplay
The game is an airplane control simulator (American fighter F / A-22A Raptor ) with a view from the cockpit.
The game has two main modes (or difficulty levels) - Cadet and Combat ; there is also a Training mode, where each mission is accompanied by comments and tips.
During the passage, the player performs various missions: for example, you need to win in an air battle with enemy fighters, destroy the target, etc. The missions themselves are divided into three parts: take-off, the actual mission and landing.
The aircraft will be opposed by ground and air opponents: the T-72 tank, the SA-13 Gopher anti-aircraft missile system, the ZSU-23-4 anti-aircraft self-propelled gun and the MiG-21 , MiG-27 and MiG-29 fighters .
The aircraft is equipped with a conventional machine gun, as well as missiles. For the entire mission, limited ammunition is issued; it is replenished only upon transition to the next task.
In the cockpit, you can monitor the current statistics of the game. There, the screens display the level of altitude, the amount of fuel (you can refuel directly in flight), the target and enemies within sight, etc. You can also track the movement of the aircraft (enemy, missile flight) from the side. Available ammunition can be found in the pause menu.
Ratings
The game received mostly critical acclaim. For example, the English magazine Mean Machine gave a score of 93 points out of 100 possible, the American magazine GamePro - 4 points out of 5, and the Australian magazine PC Power Play - 71 points out of 100 [1] .
