Born in Hanoi , at the age of 10 she moved with her family to Budapest . [one]
In the national teams of Vietnam and Hungary, she participates in 9 Olympiads ( 1994–2002 for Vietnam and 2006–2012 for Hungary). In 1998 , she won the World Cup for girls under 20.
Champion of Asia ( 2000 ) [2] and champion of Europe ( 2013 ) [3] [4] [5] in chess.
Hoang Thanh Chang has dual citizenship of Vietnam and Hungary. [five]
