He was a secretary of the All-Russian Union of Workers in Printing, secretary of the Moscow Club of Workers, a member of the board of the Union of Cooperatives in Omsk . Organizer in Omsk of the anti-Bolshevik front of the right-wing socialist orientation and cooperation. Prominent figure in Siberian regionalism . Publisher and co-editor of the Omsk newspaper Zarya.
Since 1929 he lived in Shanghai. In 1931 he published and edited the literary, artistic and political magazine Parus .
