Story
The action takes place in 2024 in futuristic Tokyo , where a group of teenage roller-skaters (who call themselves ore fights ) "GG" vie for control of Tokyo's districts in relation to many other groups. At the same time, the Goji Rokkaku group took over many areas of the city, and their leader is currently the mayor of Tokyo. It oppresses people by taking away freedom of speech and expression, and forces other gang members to occupy territory thanks to the corrupt Tokyo police.
The game begins with a character named Yoyo who must prove himself in order to join the GG group. After Yoyo joins the group, the game is interrupted by DJ Professor K, where he talks about the turmoil in Tokyo. After this video, the player must fulfill his mission - "to bury Tokyo in graffiti and fight with the authoritarian Rokkaku police."
Gameplay
The game has the same gameplay as in Jet Set Radio , but has undergone minor changes. The player can still draw graffiti and run away from the cops and gangs. Jet Set Radio Future is a reference to aggressive roller-skating. The player can ride on the railing and rails and perform various tricks. If the character is stopped abruptly, he will do the Powerslide trick. Some characters do not have 2 middle wheels on roller skates to simplify their management on the railing.
In the game, graffiti needs to be collected in pieces to use them. At each level there are 3 collectible graffiti and a “secret tape”, which gives the player 5 tasks optional for passing the game.
Xbox 360 Compatibility
Since April 19, 2007, the game has been compatible with the Xbox 360 console , except for the PAL version and the JSRF / Sega GT 2002 bundle . However, on July 12, 2007, Microsoft released an update that fixes a large number of errors, including a problem with the PAL version of the game. However, the PAL version will not work through the VGA cable, and the game can only be played at 50 Hz. The bundle version can be played with RCA , YUV , SCART or HDMI cables .
The Sega GT 2002 / JSRF bundle is currently compatible with the Xbox 360, although sometimes a drop in frame rate can be observed.

- ↑ The official website of Richard Jacques indicates this track among his other works, suggesting that the track “Bokfresh” was actually written by him, and not by Guitar Vader.
