Leonid Vasilyevich Khudyakov ( 1915 - 1995 ) - Soviet painter and teacher, professor of the LIZAA named after I. E. Repin , member of the St. Petersburg Union of Artists (until 1992 - Leningrad organization of the Union of Artists of the RSFSR) [1] .

Biography
Born September 2, 1915 .
In 1936-1943 studied at the faculty of painting at the I.E. Repin LIZSA . He graduated from the institute in the workshop of Professor N.F. Petrov with the title of artist of painting. Thesis - the painting "Occupants in our territory" [2] .
Participant of exhibitions since 1946. He painted thematic paintings, portraits, landscapes. Among the created works of the work “V. Lenin and I. Stalin at Razliv ” [3] (1950),“ On the Volga ”,“ In Cheboksary ”,“ At the Wharf ”,“ Horses ” [4] (all 1954),“ Portrait of People's Artist of the RSFSR B. I Bregvadze " [5] (1960)," Portrait of a Woman " [6] (1971) and others. Since 1947, he taught at the LIZSA named after I. E. Repin , professor. [7] Son Khudyakov Aleksey Leonidovich (1947-2001) also graduated from the painting department of the LIZSA named after I. E. Repin , was a member of LOSH and a participant in numerous exhibitions.
Leonid Vasilyevich Khudyakov died on December 21, 1995 in St. Petersburg at the 81st year of his life. The works are stored in museums and private collections in Russia and abroad. The famous portrait of L. V. Khudyakov, performed by Alexei Khudyakov in 1984 [8] .
