The plot is based on the story of the Walsh family, who during the first seasons were central characters. A couple, Jim and Cindy, are moving with their two children, the twins Brenda and Brandon, from northern Minnesota to hot Beverly Hills in California. In the second and third seasons - telling about the last two years of training for the younger Walsh and their friends at the West Beverly Hills School - the characters also try to find the right way out of difficult situations. By April 1990, after two months of ongoing casting, the entire cast was selected with the exception of two central characters - Brandon and Brenda Walsh. The project was on the verge of closure. Filming

The production of the series took place in the California district of Van Nuys.
