Anthracocentrus arabicus (lat.) - a species of barbel beetles from the subfamily Lamiin . Distributed in Saudi Arabia , Egypt , Sudan , Djibouti , Yemen , Somalia , Ethiopia , Sahara , southeastern Iran and Israel [1] [2] . Larvae feed plants are acacia , Tamarix articulata , Tamarix aphylla [2] and, possibly, Tipuana tipu [3] .
