Biography
She made her debut in the championships of the Netherlands in 2002. She did not achieve significant results, after which she concentrated on marathon races.
In 2010 and 2012, she won the Dutch artificial ice marathon.
In the 2011/2012 season, she won twice at the World Cup stages in the mass start, in the overall standings she won the first played World Cup in the mass start.
In the 2012/2013 season, she decided to switch from a marathon to classic speed skating [1] .
Family
The younger brother is Sjord Huisman (1986-2013), also a marathon runner, winner of the Dutch marathons both on skates and on roller skates.
