The source of the river is located on the southeastern slope of the Chersky ridge . The river is 122 km long. The catchment area is 1820 km². The average annual flow at the mouth is 0.088 km³. The duration of freezing reaches 175-200 days: usually the river is covered with ice from late October to early May .
