The source is located on the southeastern slope of the Nerchinsko-Kuenginsky ridge . It falls into Shilka near the city of the same name . The length of the river is 120 km, the catchment area is 1140 km² [3] .
From the source to the mouth on the river there are settlements: Middle Kiya [4] , Bogomyagkovo , Kokuy-Komogortsevo and the city of Shilka [2] .
