Neoplan N1122 / 3 (Neoplan Skyliner-2001) is one of the newest developments of the double-decker tourist bus Neoplan Skyliner , produced since 2001 by Neoplan Bus Gmbh. This is a three-axle two-story airliner for carrying a large number of passengers, which has a very high comfort of transportation, like its sister model Cityliner, the Neoplan N1216 . This model liner is available in 2 versions: N1122 / 3C (three-axle liner 12.4 meters long) and N1122 / 3L (three-axle liner 13.7 meters long).

Bus Characteristic
The Neoplan N1223 bus has many advantages and additional features included in the design. The bus is a two-story type, so the liner can carry up to 80 passengers at once. The liner has an unusual body design with rounded corners, headlights with lens glass significantly increase their foresight. The bus has a high corrosion resistance, and as a result, a long warranty period of work. Despite the fact that there are no different folding compartments in the body, they are not needed, since all the comfort options are located in the cabin.
The bus has rear doors (facing directly to the spiral staircase) and are possible as additional and 4 doors on the left side of the body. The load on the axles is divided in three, the main load goes on the 2nd axis; wheels are usually disc. The bus has a welded additional compartment in the back, which can also be used as the third luggage.
The doors have an anti-goggle system, and all the stairs are upholstered in a pile carpet, the “screw” ones on the second floor are also upholstered, and the metal parts of the stairs are covered with rubber, as well as the railing.
The bus has a very high level of comfort for transportation on both floors: on the lower floor there are up to 20 seats, on the top one up to 45-60. Comfort is achieved and comfortable seats, a variety of equipment backrests, a large width between the rows. In the cabin there are 3 LCD TVs (there are two on the 1st floor).
The bus can have a kitchen with a folding table, behind which is placed a container with appliances, a refrigerator. The toilet is located to the right of the middle door. The bus also has ABS (anti-blocking) systems, ASR (traction control), ECAS (pneumatic brakes), motor brakes, MSC (speed limiter), ACC (control while turning). Bus engine six-cylinder capacity of 353 kilowatts MAN D2676 LOH 02 on the newest system of CO 2 Euro-4 emission compression. The driver's seat is also made with high comfort. The keys have their own backlight and easy to read. MAN Gearbox Tipmatic ®, 6 or 12-speed, hydropneumatic pedals, clutch pedal with pneumatic-powered ZF Booster. The liner doesn’t require additional tanks, because its fuel tank capacity is 630 liters.
