The 174th meridian of western longitude is a line of longitude that is 174 degrees west of the Greenwich meridian to the west, passing from the North Pole through the Arctic Ocean , Russia , the Pacific Ocean , Oceania , and the South Ocean to the South Pole and forming orthodromy with the 6th east meridian longitude
