Nikolskoye (Pokrovskoye rural settlement)

Nikolskoye is a village, the center of the Nikolo-Kormsk rural administration of the Pokrovsky rural settlement of the Rybinsk district of the Yaroslavl region ^[1] .

The village is located on the P104 highway in the Uglich - Rybinsk section , between the village of Nikolo-Korma and the village of Mostovitsa . The village, like the road, is oriented from the southwest to the northeast. In the direction of Uglich, in the southwestern part, the village is adjacent to the village of Nikola-Korma, in the north-east along the outskirts of the village from the north-west to the southeast, the Korma river flows ^[2] . To the north, on the left bank of the river, there were previously collective farm buildings and other farm buildings, now turned into ruins. Only the sawmill has survived in operational condition. Above the bridge there is a dam forming a pond on the river.

The village of Nikolskoye is indicated on the plan of the General Land Survey of the Rybinsk Uyezd in 1792.

The village consists of two different parts. The old part is built along the highway, this is a traditional building, chopped huts , facades to the street. The new part is located in the western part, at some distance from the road, it was built in 1960-1980. These are two-story houses of typical projects made of silicate brick into several apartments. There are also a school and a club built at the same time as houses. The resident population as of January 1, 2007 is 302 people ^[3] .

In the village there is a post office, a school (bears the traditional name, in the neighboring village of Nikolo-Kormskaya ^[4] ), a club, shops. A bus connects the village with Rybinsk, Myshkin and Uglich. The administration of the rural settlement in the village and the center of the general practitioner is located in the village of Iskra October .
