Shrub hemispingus [1] ( lat. Hemispingus parodii ) is a species of bird from the Tanagra family. Birds live in subtropical and tropical mountain rainforests, at an altitude of 2600–3500 meters above sea level [2] , on the eastern slopes of the Andes in Vilcabamba and Cordillera de Vilcanota in the Cuzco ( Peru ) region [3] . Body length 16 cm [4] , weight about 21 grams [2] .
