Emblem Description

Symbolism Description
The coat of arms of the city of Borzya and the Borzinsky district is based on the idea of a stylized image of the distinctive features of the terrain and geographical location. The fork-shaped division of the shield implies transport communications of the area with neighboring states: Russia, China , Mongolia .
The image of birds in the coat of arms reflects the nature of the area, Daursky Nature Reserve .
The azure (blue, blue) color in heraldry is a symbol of honor, glory, devotion, truth, beauty, virtue. Here it is also the district’s water resources: the Borzya River, the Torean lakes.
The green color of the coat of arms symbolizes the nature of the region, agriculture, animal husbandry, crop production. Green is also a symbol of health.
Black - mining, coal, metals. The black color in heraldry symbolizes prudence, wisdom, modesty, honesty and eternity of being.
Silver (white) in heraldry is a symbol of simplicity, perfection, wisdom, nobility, peace, and mutual cooperation.
Gold (yellow) in heraldry is a symbol of the highest value, greatness, strength, strength, generosity. Yellow (gold) is the color of the Borzin Cossacks .
Coat of Arms History
The first coat of arms of Borzi was approved on April 29, 1988 by decision No. 213 of the Executive Committee of the Borzin City Council of People's Deputies. [2]

The emblem had the following description: “On a silver shield background, a circle is a symbol of the status of a city. In the center of the circle on a gold background is a silver ram - a symbol of the main and oldest direction in the economy of these places. The upper part of the circle is bordered by a white strip, it denotes salt , which for a long time was the wealth of the Borzino steppe. On it an ear, in spite of the severity of conditions, cereals are grown here. In the lower part of the circle on a black background are the blades of a coal bucket wheel excavator - an underground pantry of the region. 3 brown rays extend from the circle. This is a road sign. Borzya is at the crossroads of the most important international routes from the USSR to Mongolia and China. ”

On March 17, 2000, by the decision of the City Assembly of the Borzi Municipal Formation and the Borzinsky District of the Chita Region, the common coat of arms of the city and the district was approved.

On December 20, 2005, by resolution of the Council of the Borzinsky District municipal district No. 125, the REGULATION was adopted on the coat of arms of the Borzinsky District municipal district [3] , in which the coat of arms was defined as the official symbol of the municipal district only.
