The Knesset Legislative Commission ( Hebrew ועדת חוקה, חוק ומשפט - Vaadat ha-huka, hok u-Mishpat ) is a permanent Knesset commission dealing with issues of law , legislation and the constitution in Israel .
Commission Information
The commission was created in 1949, during the cadet of the 1st Knesset , Nakhum Nir became its first chairman. Currently, it is headed by MP David Rotem from the Our Home Israel faction.
