History

The New World newspaper was edited by Nikolai Bukharin and Alexandra Kollontai . In January 1917, Leon Trotsky arrived in New York, who from that moment until his return to Russia took part in the work of the editorial board. V. Volodarsky, who lived in Philadelphia , was also one of the leading editorial staff. The newspaper was closed due to the fact that after the February Revolution of 1917, key editorial staff returned to Russia.
