Born in the family of a member of the rock band The Signs - Tony Burns . He began his career with the band The Bleach Works (BBMak, along with Mark Berry and Stephen McNally), successfully selling 3 million copies of their albums, then the band broke up, somewhere in 2003, and everyone began to perform solo.
Once Christian Burns heard DJ Tiesto tracks on Myspace and decided to contact him for collaboration.
Tiësto was just looking for a new vocalist for his upcoming album “Elements Of Life”. Although musically the style of the DJ was different from the one in which Christian performed with his group, they found an interesting combination. This track became the top 1 in charts and received awards on MTV and TRL.
The success of "In the Dark" led to the popularity of Christian Burns and performances at many Tiestos Live concerts. This was followed by collaboration with Armin Van Buuren , Paul Van Dyk , BT, Benny Benassi , David Guetta and Richard Durand.
He also collaborated with Benny Benassi, with the song "Love and Motion" and American singer Jes Brieden on the song 'As We Collide'.
The main fame came to him with the BT album in 2010 “These Hopeful Machines”, co-author of the songs “Suddenly”, “The Emergency”, and “Forget Me”. He owns the main vocals in Suddenly and the backing vocals in The Emergency and Forget Me.
In 2015, Christian, together with Swanky Tunes, recorded his new track titled Skin & Bones.
