(1204) Rentia ( lat. Renzia ) is a small asteroid belonging to the group of asteroids crossing the orbit of Mars , which was discovered on October 6, 1931 by German astronomer Karl Wilhelm Reynmut , who worked at the Heidelberg Observatory and was named after the Russian astronomer of German origin Franz Renzts [ 1] .
