The decision to create a Donetsk excavator plant was made on the basis of Decree of the Council of Ministers of the RSFSR No. 1481 dated 09/24/1960 "On the construction of industrial enterprises and consumer services enterprises in the districted coal mines of the Rostov Region in 1961-69." The decision was made in 1964 ^[2] . Already in April-May 1970, the plant began to produce its first products - E-652B excavators.

Since the early 1970s, it was planned to equip most of the excavators with hydraulic drive. The cable cars were supposed to be kept at two plants - Kostroma and Donetsk excavator ^[3] . In the 1980s , the plant began producing cable excavators (in 4 trim levels) on the EO-4112A caterpillar track ^[4] , which replaced the first models ( E-652B and EO-4111 ).

Present

In the period from the 1990s to the second half of the 2000s , the plant produced excavators based on the VTZ tractor chassis ^[5] . Since 2002, a modified version of the ZTM-216A wheel loader, developed in 1996 (in conjunction with the All-Russian Research Institute "Stroydormash") , has been produced.

Since 2007, the company is the only one that produces excavators with cable suspension of the working body ^[6] .

At the exhibition "Construction Equipment and Technologies" in 2007, the company presented a 32-ton truck crane KS-55719D based on the KAMAZ chassis (-55111 and −53228) with the possibility of increasing the main boom with a 7.5 meter goose. According to the plans of Donetsk Excavator OJSC, when purchasing hydraulic equipment at the Strommashina plant in Kokhomia , it is ready to produce up to 10 cars per month ^[7] .

Currently, the plant produces three models of 32-ton truck cranes with 5 reference points. The chassis used are the Urals and KAMAZ ^{[8] [9]} .

In 2012, Doneks won a tender for the supply of truck cranes for the armed forces (116 units), several tenders for excavators (60 units), and began production of forklifts for the needs of the Ministry of Defense and the Ministry of Emergencies.

The Donetsk Excavator was part of the Megapolis group of the deputy of the Legislative Assembly of the Rostov Region Konstantin Kuzin, in 2008 it produced 81 excavators, 31 auto-loaders, and received 450 million rubles. revenue and 25 million rubles. net loss, according to its statements. In 2009, production fell sharply, in May 2010 monitoring was introduced at the company, and after another four months - bankruptcy proceedings. The bankruptcy trustee several times tried to sell the company's assets, while at the end of 2012 its main workshops and equipment for 41.5 million rubles. did not buy LLC Doneks. And already in March 2012, 100% of Donex was bought by the structure of the Athena Pallada group, Novosibirsk Solo-rent LLC (USRLE data).

Performance Indicators

In 2008, the company's net profit amounted to 477 million rubles, and the loss - 24.9 million rubles ^[11] . The following year, net profit declined to 161 million rubles, and losses (according to the results of the year) - 78 million rubles ^[10] . For 9 months of 2009, the plant assembled 18 excavators, and for 9 months of the next - 20 ^[12] .

Export

35% of products are exported. The plant’s equipment operates in 23 countries: Algeria , Afghanistan , Argentina , Mexico , Spain , Iraq , Senegal , Syria , France , as well as in the countries of the former USSR and others.

Rewards

• In 2005, the front loader, model ZTM-216ART, was included in the "100 best goods of Russia" ^[13] .

In 2006, the Federal Antimonopoly Service, according to the statement of Absheron Plant Lesselmash OJSC, established that the factory produced and offered for sale products without being a patent holder for them. The applicant company turned out to be the patent holder for these products. Thus, Donetsk Excavator OJSC violated article 10 of the Law “On Competition and the Limitation of Monopolistic Activities in Commodity Markets.” These actions were recognized as unfair competition. However, it was found that the plant itself stopped violating the law, therefore It was ^[14] .

In the summer of 2009, two Rostov companies (Komtekh-Rostov and Yugmetallsnab-Holding) demanded that the plant be declared bankrupt, since the company owed them 556 thousand rubles and 1.08 million rubles, respectively. After payment of debts, creditors withdrew their applications. Already in October, a new, third in a row, application was submitted to the Arbitration Court in the Rostov Region from the Moscow company ZAO Stroitelnoe Upravlenie-49 ^[11] . However, the Arbitration Court found no signs of bankruptcy at the plant ^[15] . Nevertheless, in 2010 OJSC Donetsk Excavator was declared bankrupt ^[16] . As it turned out, the application was filed in December 2009 from Dorstroy LLC ^[10] . After being declared bankrupt, the company continues to operate under the management of Doneks LLC, which is one of the plant’s creditors: the debt of Donetsk Excavator OJSC to the company amounted to 65 million rubles ^[10] .
