Biography
Born in 1986 in Krasnoyarsk. A pupil of the Krasnoyarsk school of winter orienteering .
She graduated from the Polytechnic Institute of the Siberian Federal University with a degree in environmental ecology and life safety. At present (2011), he is getting a second higher education at the same university with a degree in economics at the Institute of Economics, Management and Nature Management of the Siberian Federal University.
She began to play sports at 10 years old, at school. Initially, she was engaged in cross-country skiing, and when she entered the university, she switched to orienteering. [3] A graduate of the Winter Sports Academy in Krasnoyarsk. Trainers - ZTRF A.Yu. Bliznevsky and ZTRrf V.S. Bliznevskaya .
The first great success on the international stage came in 2011, when Polina won individual gold at the World Championships in Sweden. Success accompanied her in the relay races - mixed (together with Andrei Grigoryev ) and women ( Trapeznikova , Kozlova , Malchikova). The following year, at the European Championships in Sumy, Polina repeated her success, winning three gold medals - in the long distance, in the mixed and women's relay races, adding silver to the sprint.
In 2011, she was awarded the prize for young talents of Krasnoyarsk for high achievements in sports. [5]
Two-time European champion in ski orienteering in the mixed relay and in the women's relay (Finland, Imatra, February 6-12, 2017).
At the World Championships in Krasnoyarsk in March 2017, she won three silver medals: in the mixed relay, in the middle distance and in the sprint.
