Museum of Greek Folk Musical Instruments ( Greek Μουσείο Ελληνικών Λαϊκών Μουσικών Οργάνων ) is a museum in Athens dedicated to the history of Greek folk art of musical instruments. The museum has a Research Center for Ethnic Music.

The museum is located in the estate of Georgios Lassanis , built in 1842 near the Roman agora .
The nearest metro station in Athens is the Monastyraki station.
Assembly
The museum owns a collection of over 1200 Greek folk musical instruments, collected for half a century by the Greek explorer, musicologist Thebos Anoianakis . The oldest is dated to the middle of the 18th century. About half of the instruments are available for inspection by visitors. In this case, for each instrument is available to listen to the sample track of the game on it. The remaining exhibits are available in museum funds for researchers or appear in temporary exhibitions or given to other museums.
The main exhibition of the museum is divided into four thematic departments:
- membrane-phone instruments - on the ground floor - toggle-switches (traditional percussion instrument), daulia (types of drum) and defi (tambourines)
- aerophonic instruments - on the ground floor - phlogers, cranes, mandurs (flutes), tsabunas, gedi (bagpipes), zurnada (oboe)
- chordophone instruments - on the second floor - tamburas, laghuts (varieties of lute), guitars, mandolins, cymbals, etc .;
- idiophones - on the third floor - kuduni (a type of ringing), masses (cymbals), simanders like that.
