Maxim Valeryevich Bgan (September 2, 1988) - Russian athlete , repeated champion of Russia, world bronze medalist, silver medalist of the European Championship in discus and hammer throwing, European track and field athletics record holder ( hammer throwing ), silver medalist of the 2009 Olympic Games in Athletics , European Champion 2011 in Kayseri (Turkey). Honored Master of Sports of Russia, member of the Russian national track and field athletics team.

In 2009:

  • 2nd place - Deaflympics in Taipei (Taiwan), discipline - hammer throwing;
  • 1st place - hammer throwing at the Russian Athletics Championship among athletes - hearing impaired, Vologda.

In 2010:

  • 1st place - hammer throwing at the Russian Championship and Track and Field Championships among hearing-impaired athletes in Cheboksary;
  • 3rd place - discus throw at the Russian Championship and Track and Field Championships among hearing-impaired athletes in Cheboksary.

In 2011:

  • 1st place - hammer throwing at the European Athletics Championship among hearing-impaired athletes in Kayseri (Turkey);
  • 1st place - hammer throwing at the Russian Track and Field Championships among hearing-impaired athletes in Cheboksary.

In 2012:

  • 2nd place - World Championships in Athletics, hammer throwing (Canada).

In 2013:

  • 1st place and Deaflympic record in hammer throwing (62.65 m) - Summer Deaflympic Games - 2013 in Sofia (Bulgaria)

Trained under the guidance of Honored Trainer of Russia Yury Olegovich Kurdyumov.

Education and work

Student of Surgut State University , faculty "Adaptive Physical Culture". He works as an athlete in the BU of the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug - Ugra "Center for Disabled Sports".
