Biography

Born in a family of researchers . Father - the famous philosopher and political scientist Igor Pantin .

In 1976 he graduated from the Faculty of Chemistry of Moscow State University , in 1979 - graduate school there. Candidate of Chemical Sciences (1980), Candidate of Political Sciences (1995), Doctor of Philosophy (1998).

Full member of the Russian Academy of Political Science (2008). Winner of the gold medal of ND Kondratyev in 2014 "for his outstanding contribution to the development of social sciences" [1] .

"He made a great contribution to the development of Kondratiev’s cycle theory, broke the complete cycle of evolution of the world system, consisting of two Kondratiev’s cycles, into four stages (phases): structural crisis, technological revolution, great shocks, revolution of world markets." [2] .
