Biography

Norayr Mammadov was born on March 25, 1991 in the village of Karahundzh , in Armenia. According to media Noraira, both of his parents are Armenians . Soon the family changed their place of residence after moving to Europe. However, despite the fact that Norayr lives in the Netherlands from an early age, the language of communication in the family is Armenian [2] .

Club career

Norayr started playing football in the Netherlands . He took his first steps in football at the age of 13, at the Groningen Junior School. At the age of 17 he became the champion of the Netherlands as part of the youth team “Groningen” in this age category. He participated in a youth tournament held in the USA, where he took 2nd place [2] .

When playing in an amateur football team, the coaches of the main team noticed [2] . In 2009, Mammadov was leased to the Wendam youth team; in the debut game Norayr scored two goals [3] . In October 2010, Norayr was rented by the Kambyur club, performing in Erstedivisi , but the player continued to train as part of Groningen by agreement of the teams [4] . As part of the Kambyur, the striker made his debut on October 15 in a match with Valveik , which ended in a draw 1: 1 [5] . In total, during the lease, Norayr spent seven matches in the championship [6] and one game in the Netherlands Cup [7] .

Mammadov played the first game as part of Groningen on March 3, 2011; in the framework of the Eredivisi, the team lost at home to Heracles with a score of 1: 4 [8] . The striker played in four more championship games [9] . And without becoming a player in the foundation of Groningen, Mammadov was bought by the Zwolle club [10] [11] . Upon completion of the lease, Norayr Aslanyan returned to Zwoll a contract with which ended in the summer of 2013. In July of the same year, he was introduced as a player of the Willem II football club, with whom he entered into a two-year agreement [12] .

In July 2014, Norayr transferred on loan to the Almere City club [13] [14] .

Team Career

On February 20, 2012, Armenian national team coach Vardan Minasyan announced the list of players to prepare for the upcoming control fights with the national teams of Serbia and Canada. Among the invitees was the name of Noraira Mammadov [15] . However, the football player, enthusiastically learning about the call to the national team, was forced to refuse to participate in the February matches. The reason for this was the injury received in the games for the club, and, as a result, the loss of place in the club [2] . Later it became known that Mammadov will celebrate his debut in the national team in May control matches [16] . However, due to problems with documents, the football player this time was not destined to play for the national team. In January 2013, it became known that Norayr Mammadov was again invited to the Armenian team . Then it became known that for the sake of speaking for the national team, he changed his surname. According to the new passport, the name of the football player is Aslanyan . However, in the Dutch championship, until the final decision on the issue of documents, the player will appear under the name Aslanyan-Mammadov [17] . According to the footballer, playing for the Armenian national team is his old dream [18] .
