Guangdong Southern Tigers basketball club.The owner of the team is the Guangdong Winnerway (Hongyuan) Group ( English Guangdong Winnerway (Hongyuan) Group ). The team is one of the most successful in the Chinese Basketball Association . The Tigers won seven titles in the playoff finals, however the number of titles to the Bai Rockets Club, which is the holder of eight titles. Also βTigersβ is the only team since This is the opening of professional basketball competitions in China, which has participated in all playoffs since 1995. The home ground is Dongguan Arena, located in Dongguan , Guangdong Province . In addition, to popularize basketball, the club holds some games in Zhongshan , Zhuhai and other cities in the area of ββthe river Pearl.

Content
History
The first team "Tigers" was founded in 1993 and was called the BC "Guangdong Southern Tigers". The club became the first non-professional basketball team in the PRC. In addition to the main team, there were three youth teams in the project (Team 2 and 3A were based on the main site; 3B was based in Dongguan ). Reserve teams existed with the joint support of the sponsor and the sports committee of the Guangdong province. During its existence, the Tigers have prepared many talented basketball players for the national team. Currently, eight Chinese national team players are playing for the club, as well as a number of young footballers playing for youth and youth teams of various ages.
The team became a member of the professional league, which started in 1995 and was named the Chinese Basketball Association (KBA). In the debut season, the Tigers reached the final, but lost to the Bai Rockets team in the final series 0-2.
