Borders
According to the law “On the status and borders of municipalities of Slyudyansky district of the Irkutsk region”
“... The territory of the Slyudyansky municipal formation includes the lands of the following settlements: the city of Slyudyanka; the village of Burovschina; Village Dry Creek. From the north, the Slyudyanskoe municipal formation borders on the Kultuk and Bystrinsky municipal formations . The border starts from the lake. Baikal near the mouth of the river. Kultuchnaya , goes in a southwesterly direction to the mark of 962 m, crossing the river Big Burutui , Small Burutui , Talaia. Further, the border turns south at a distance of 13 km 200 m, then goes in a westerly direction to the border with the Republic of Buryatia , crossing the r. Blacky. The length of the northern border is 45 km 160 m. From the west, the border of the municipality adjoins the eastern border of Buryatia. The border starts from the mark of 1789 m and goes in the south-east direction to the mark of 2275 m along the Beshechny ridge. From the south, the border of the municipality adjoins the northern border of Buryatia. The border starts from the 2275 m mark and goes along the Beshechny ridge to the 2002 mark. On the eastern side, the Slyudyansk municipal formation borders on the Utulik municipal formation . The border starts from the 2002 m mark and goes to the north to a distance of 5 km 200 m, then turns to the north-west to the mark of 1550 m, then turns to the east and goes to the river. Wintering.
