History
In 1999, Mitch Dall and Harvey Jones decided to create wiggle.co.uk, selling bicycle parts at Butlers Cycles, under the direction of Dall in Portsmouth . Initially, they offered everything that, in their opinion, could be sold. Having decided to concentrate on bicycles , they achieved success and completely switched to online trading in 2003. Now, running, swimming and triathlon products have been added to the Wiggle Ltd assortment. The assortment includes more than 40,000 items of goods, skus [1] , including spare parts, clothing, shoes and sports computers.
In 2006, Wiggle entered into an agreement with a private investment company, ISIS, to expand and ISIS received a 42% stake, which at that time was £ 30. [2] In December 2012, under the leadership of Humphrey Cobbold, most of the company's shares were acquired by investment firm Bridgepoint Capital.
