Volcano refers to the Middle Volcanic Belt and Sedankino volcanic area.
It is located on the western slope of the Sredinny Range , east of the Tuzovsky volcano.
The shape of the volcano is a gentle shield. At the top there is a flat crater with a diameter of 250 m. Geographically, the volcanic structure has a shape elongated in the meridional direction with axes of 4 × 9 km and an area of 32 km². The volume of erupted material ~ 5 km³. Absolute height - 1410 m, relative: southern slopes - about 680 m, northern - 400 m.
The composition of the products of eruptions is represented by basalts .
The activity of the volcano refers to the Holocene period.
