Biography
Born in the city of Oyem , located in the north of Gabon, he studied in France . In the government of Gabon, he was Minister of Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries, was responsible for rural development of the country.
After the parliamentary elections in December 2011, in which the ruling Gabon Democratic Party won an absolute majority of seats, Prime Minister Paul Biyoge Mba resigned on February 13, 2012. President Ali Bongo appointed Ndong Shim as Prime Minister on February 27, 2012. In Gabon, this appointment was regarded as a landmark event, since the post of prime minister was always given to representatives of the Fang people from the province of Estuary . Although Ndong Shima also belongs to the phangas, he comes from the province of Volye Ntem .
