Kummerover See [4] ( German: Kummerower See ) is a lake in Germany, in the land of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern , about 70 km south of Stralsund [5] .

The western shore of the lake belongs to Mecklenburg, the eastern - to Western Pomerania [6] . The lake is about 11 km long and about 4 km wide [2] . The average depth is 8.1 m, the maximum depth is 23.3 m [3] .
