Novocherkassk Electrode Plant

EPM - NEZ JSC is the largest enterprise in Russia for the production of graphitized electrodes. The main consumers of JSC EPM-NEZ products in Russia are not only well-known steel producers: Chelyabinsk Metallurgical Plant, Red October, Magnitogorsk Metallurgical Plant, Oskolsky Electrometallurgical Plant, but also dozens of small machine-building plants. Leading companies in the metallurgical industry in Europe, Asia and America are also regular customers of the nez. EPM-NEZ JSC specializes in the production of graphite electrodes of the grades EGSP, EGP, EG, EGPK, with a diameter of 250-710 mm.

The plant is located in the northern part of the city of Novocherkassk, Rostov region .

• In 1993, the plant was transformed into an open joint stock company .
• In 1994, a joint venture was established with the SGL Carbon Group ( SGL Carbon ) ( Wiesbaden , Germany).
• In 2005, the company became part of the Energoprom Group, along with other major plants of the industry - Chelyabinsk Electrode Plant OJSC and Novosibirsk Electrode Plant CJSC.
• In 2007, the plant launched a program to improve work efficiency, as well as an investment program for the reconstruction and modernization of the enterprise. ^[3]
• In 2008, as part of the formation of a single brand of products of the Energoprom Group, the plant was renamed into Energoprom - Novocherkassk Electrode Plant OJSC.
