Biography

Born in a small village on the border of Kenya and Uganda . Since 2001, lives in the Netherlands , but until 2007, she competed in competitions under the Kenyan flag. In 2007, she received Dutch citizenship and has since advocated for her new homeland.

In 2004 and 2007, she won the 10 km Parelloop . Winner In 2008, she took part in the Beijing Olympics , where she took 15th place at a distance of 10,000 meters. In the same year, she became the European champion in cross-country and took 5th place at the world championship in cross-country in Edinburgh .
