Biography
Together with his brothers, he was expelled by Roman Volynsky , who had been living in Galicia in 1199 , because he supported Seversky princes, sons of Igor Svyatoslavich and, according to one of the versions, Yaroslav Osmomysl 's grandchildren by his mother as pretenders to the Galician throne.
After the death of Roman in 1205, at the battle of Zawihost, Kormilichiči returned from exile and contributed to the congregation of Igorevichi in Galich, but after they launched repression against the boyars, they again had to flee. They were received by the Hungarian king Andrush II , who had earlier adopted the juvenile Romanovich with their mother. In 1211, the Hungarian-Polish-Volyn army defeated and captured Igorevichi, put Daniil Romanovich on the Galician reign. But the boyars led by Vladislav did not expect to give the reins to the hands of Princess Romanova and princes, and they again had to flee from Galich.
Then Andrash II went to Galich, restored the rights of Romanovich, captured Vladislav, Sudislav and Philip, subjected to torture, released Sudislav for mercy and took Vladislav to Hungary as a prisoner. Then the remnants of the boyar party (Yavol'd and Yaropolk) organized the raid of Mstislav Peresopnytsky , inviting him to the Galician reign. But soon the Hungarians released Vladislav with an army, he drove into Galich and got ready, sat on the throne . Krakow prince Leshko Bely responded about this situation like this: Do not give a lieuteness to prince in Galich . Leshko, first with his own and Volyn forces, conducted a campaign against Galich, defeated Vladislav on the Bobrka River, but could not take the city. Then Andrash supported Leshka, put his son Koloman in Galich ( 1214 ), at the same time capturing Vladislav, who died in Hungary in captivity [1] .
