History
The first mention of the village dates back to the 16th century . In ancient times, it was the landowner village of Podzvyaz. Near the village was a manor, from which only a park and ponds were preserved [3] . In the documents of 1859, the village was mentioned under the double name Garter (Logschina). Then in the village there were 24 yards and 196 peasants. There are two versions of the origin of the name "Logschina": from the topography - a log (beam) , or from the names of the owners - landowners Lagovchiny . The official name - Lagovsky - was approved in 1929. In the late 1950s, the village became the administrative center of the Lagovsky village council.
Currently, the village is in conflict and gasified. There is street lighting, a telephone, a paved road. Some cottages have a sewer. There is a children's playground. A bus number 42 runs through the village: Lviv - Romantsevo. In the 1980s, a monument was erected in the village to local residents who died in the Great Patriotic War .
