Biography
Petr Petrovich was born on July 11, 1912 in the village of Kurganovo, Tver province . He was engaged in figure skating in the sports society Dynamo Leningrad .
In 1938 he graduated from the Higher School of Trainers at the GOLIFK named after P.F. Lesgaft .
In the postwar years, he sought out Leningrad skaters, and resumed the work of the figure skating section. He was a senior coach of the Leningrad Regional Council Dynamo, in the season 1962-1963 he was a coach at the club CSKA (Moscow). Honored Coach of the Ukrainian SSR . Judge of the republican category of the RSFSR in figure skating (1958).
In 1960 he moved from Leningrad to Kiev to work as a coach of the Ukrainian art and sports ensemble "Ballet on Ice".
He raised many students, including Igor Moskvin , Lyudmila Belousova , Oleg Protopopov , Nina Zhuk and Stanislav Zhuk .
