The international class Micro yachts are compact vessels with the following characteristics: weight 450-570 kg, hull length 5.5 m, width no more than 2.5 m, main sail area 18.5 m², spinnaker area 18.5 m². The small dimensions of the yacht and the relatively low price are the main advantages of this type of vessel, allowing its owners to store the boat in the garage, as well as transport on a trailer. In the leisure industry, the micro yacht has a double meaning: sports and recreation.
