Kim Kashkashyan ( Eng. Kim Kashkashian , August 31, 1952 , Detroit ) is an American viola player of Armenian origin.

Biography
She studied at the Philadelphia Academy of Music Karen Tuttle. [5] In 1980, she received a second prize at the Lionel Tertis International Competition .

Pedagogical activity
She taught in Freiburg and Berlin . He currently teaches at the New England Conservatory . Among her students are Sheila Brown, Julia Rebecca Adler , Lim Sun Lee, Dimut Poppen and others.
Qashqashian at the cinema
K. Kashkashyan starred in J. L. Godard 's film “Germany: Nine Zero” ( 1991 ), she was one of the performers of the music for the film Theo Angelopoulos “ Ulysses Look ” ( 1995 ).
