Located in the Bystrinsky district of the Kamchatka Territory .
It belongs to the group of the Uksichansky volcanic region of the Middle Belt. The volcano is located in the central part of the Sredinny Range , in the headwaters of the Ulavkovchan river.
The shape of the volcano is a gentle shield. At the top there is a crater open to the north, measuring 40 × 70 m. Geographically, the volcanic structure covers an area close to a circle with a diameter of 5 km and an area of 20 km². The volume of erupted material ~ 2.5 km³. The absolute height is 1530 m, while the relative height is about 450 m.
The activity of the volcano refers to the Holocene period.
