Historical Review
The most little-known of the opera works of Tigran Chukhajyan, according to various opinions, was written in 1897 [2] or in the second half of the 1870s. [3] . Libretto by Joseph (Hovsep) Yazychyan [3] , written based on the eponymous work by Abuyulhak Hamid [3] . In its genre, “Indiana” is a patriotic opera [3] , according to musicologist Anna Asatryan, one of the composer's best works [3] . The manuscripts of the opera are stored in the archive of Chukhajyan of the Yerevan Museum of Literature and Art [3] [4] . The opera was also studied by musicologists G. Stepanyan [4] and M. Muradyan [5] .
