Policy
In the 2012 presidential election, residents of the canton in the 1st round gave Marin Le Pen 27.6% of the vote against 27.5% of Francois Hollande and 23.5% of Nicolas Sarkozy , in the 2nd round, Hollande won, receiving 53.3% of the vote (2007 Round 1: Sarkozy - 27.3%, Segolene Royal - 22.9%; Round 2: Sarkozy - 52.5%).
