The geology of oil and gas is a scientific and technical journal that publishes articles on the problems of the oil and gas industry. It was founded in 1957 (it was isolated from the journal Oil Industry [1] ) by the USSR Ministry of Geology ; co-founders: Ministry of Natural Resources of the Russian Federation , Ministry of Fuel and Energy of the Russian Federation , OAO Gazprom , VNIGNI . It is included in the list of HAC in the RSCI (the impact factor of the RSCI in 2009 was 0.4) [2] .
