Career

At the 1948 Olympics in St. Moritz , he won the bronze medal in the relay, in which he ran the first stage, and held it unsuccessfully ending only in 4th place, losing not only to the favorites Swedes and Finns , but also to the rather weak Austrian team , Evensen's teammates in the subsequent stages somewhat corrected the situation, placing the Norwegian team in third place. He was also the 15th in the 18 km race. I did not participate in the 50 km race.

At the 1939 World Cup in Zakopane, he took 4th place in the relay.
