Biography
Amand lived in the 5th century. He was ordained priest by the first archbishop of the archdiocese of Bordeaux, Saint Dolphin . In 404 he became the successor to St. Dolphin.
St. Amand was a teacher of St. Peacock of Nolan . Saint Severin became his successor in the department of Bordeaux. After the death of Severin, Amand again ascended to the pulpit (420 - 431 gg.).
